Where to go for help....

- Try and let those around you aware of how much you are struggling. You might feel this is too difficult to do and the eating disorder may be using everything its got to try and stop you but it is so important you have support from family and friends to firstly take the step of getting help and secondly to fight your eating disorder.  Anyway, they may already know but be too afraid to talk to you about their concerns.

- Try and be strong and go to speak to your GP. They will be able to advise you on what action may need to be taken. This might involve referring you onto the relevant health care professionals. This may also be a very scary prospect, but try and remember that things can be different and that eating disorders can be beaten! You do deserve help to fight the illness that has stolen your control and taken over your life. If you feel like you are loosing strength, try and hold onto the things that make fighting your eating disorder worthwhile and if you don't know what they are, use the hope that things can be different. Because at the end of the day are you happy now and what have you got to loose by giving challenging your eating disorder a try?
